Giving new meaning to the "Happy Mac" icon that even greets OS X users at system startup, a pair of geeks from Austin Texas have turned an old Macintosh SE into a bong, Wired News reports.\
Inspired by MacQuarium, a Mac turned from hardware to wetware, "Agapornis" and "Prozac" started in 1992 with the first MacBong, which served as both bong and tank. "We were working on a way to make an aquarium with the bong inside it so that the person taking the hit could watch the fish," Agapornis explained, "but the aquarium took up too much room."
Working at a stoner's pace, the pair have now produced three MacBongs, the most recent named iBong. Whatever else it is, the iBong is sure to Stink Different. This would be consistent with a statement by one anonymous journalist quoted in the report: "The IBM PC was created by people who drank alcohol. The Mac was created by people who smoked pot."
